Submission guidelines for Authors

AIB PAPER SUBMISSION SYSTEM

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

  • Submissions must be made on or before June 15, 2018.

  • Papers must be fewer than 10,000 words inclusive of all materials, including appendices and references. Papers exceeding these limits will be returned to the authors.

    • Each manuscript must state, on its front page at the top right, the requested Track (number and title).
    • Each manuscript should also be accompanied by an abstract, not exceeding 150-200 words.
    • All manuscripts must be in English.
    • The document must be stripped of all identifying information: None of the pages (not even the first page) should list any author information and the File Properties for the documents should be cleaned to remove identifying information.
    • Manuscripts must follow the JIBS Style Guide but for the length of an abstract.
    • The manuscript should preferably be saved in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format to ensure that reviewers see it in the intended way. However, Microsoft Word files will also be accepted.

SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES FOR PANELS

All submissions should be made through the online submission system. All submissions must be made on or before June 15, 2018. Please remember to choose the “Panel” option for the Submission Type field during the submission process.

  • Panel proposals must be submitted by the panel chair and include:
    • A title page that includes the names, affiliations and contact information for all participants and identification of their roles. This list should contain at least four people who have confirmed their participation at the Conference;
    • An abstract, not exceeding 150-200 words, that summarizes the panel (to be used in the proceedings);
    • An explanation of why the panel should be of interest to AIB-CEE Chapter Conference and to AIB-CEE members (500–1000 words);
    • A description of the session format (e.g., pro and contra debate, roundtable discussion etc.);
    • Any special room setup or technical requirement that the panel requires (please note that the feasibility of these requirements will be part of the evaluation criteria);
  • Panel proposals should be no more than 6,000 words inclusive of all materials.
  • Panel proposals should be written in English.
  • Panel proposals should address an innovative theme or topic within the conference (Tracks).

While designing the panel, please keep in mind that sessions at the 5th AIB-CEE Chapter Conference are limited to 90 minutes. Please also note that only panelists that will appear in person at the conference can be listed in the programme.
